Edge City formed in 1999 as a response to relentless forces of commercialization and conformity on music, bringing together practitioners with wide-ranging musical backgrounds in a spirit of adventure, experimentation and spontaneity. The Collective has produced three CDs of new music, a movie soundtrack and a series of memorable live performances.
